Skinny Mozzarella Sticks.

When learning how to cook healthy food you need to figure out how to adjust the recipes of your favorite foods! This is what I have done. One of my favorite snack foods are cheese (mozzarella) sticks. There is nothing like deep fried cheese that you can eat on the run.  I have cut the calories in half!

Shopping List
- Low Fat (Lite) Mozzarella String cheese
- Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
- Egg Beaters
- Whole Wheat Flour
- Pam

Procedure
  • Remove String Cheese from all packaging.
  • Cut each string cheese stick in half
  • Place all of the string cheese stick in a baggy then place in the freezer for an hour
  • Remove from freezer and baggy.
  • In three seperate bowls place 1/4 cup egg beater, 1/2 cup flour, and 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • With each halved strinh cheese stick coat in flour, dip in egg beater, then roll in bread crumbs
  • Repeat until every haved string cheese stick is done.
  • Place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam
  • Place in the oven on 350 for 10 minutes.
  • They are finished when you can see the cheese is soft!
There are only 78 calories for 2 of these delishious HEALTHY snacks!
